In her first full year on her job, Suyash has defined her charter to take Crisil from good to great, by focussing on three strategic areas—enabling a people-first organisation, driving organic growth and creating intellectual property, and investing in new areas. Given the overall stressed balance sheet of banks and indebtedness of companies, Suyash believes Crisil holds an important position as the country’s premier ratings agency. Crisil continued to maintain its leadership position—it announced 3,300 new bank loan ratings during the year and assigned over 16,000 SME ratings. Suyash has also grown Crisil’s global presence.
