If last year’s performance was good, this year has been even better for Chakraborty. State Bank of Mauritius (SBM) reported a 200% rise in net profit to Rs 33 crore. She attributes the growth partly to increased business from corporate banking, and treasury operations.SBM opened its fourth branch at Ramachandrapuram (near Hyderabad) in June. Its total income grew by 22% to Rs 166 crore, and the company’s momentum on growing the team continues with Chakraborty having expanded headcount by 20%
