40 Under 40: The new star of the funding world
Srivatsa has a rich pedigree in the funding business. An engineering graduate from IIT Madras—who started as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company—he has spent the last decade managing funds, raising and deploying capital, and overseeing strategy for funds in the impact space. His roster includes the SONG Fund— owned by Google, Omidyar Network, and Soros Economic Development Fund—one of the first early-stage impact investors in India, and Aspada (now Lightrock). Today, Lightrock invests in the range of $10 million-$50 million in growth-stage impact companies.
