Interview with Ahmad Nabil Dubai's luxury car king

Ahmad Nabil is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of VIP Motors, a luxury car showroom based in Dubai. Ahmad Nabil has been in the luxury car industry for more than a decade. VIP Motors have seen impressive growth and continually rising popularity not just locally but worldwide as famous celebrities visit VIP Motors frequently in Dubai and are customers themselves.

Since the business started in 2016, Ahmad Nabil has built strong relationships with some of the world's most popular and influential people. This led VIP Motors to become an iconic and reputable car dealership worldwide.

When starting a new business, in order to make it successful you have to hit multiple checkpoints such as timing, location, and finding the right customer niche. Ahmad Nabil saw it coming. Ahmad opened the headquarters of the business in Dubai as Dubai was already a fast-growing central hub of business in the Middle East and a reputable location worldwide, and for as long as the city grew it attracted more and more influential and high-net-worth individuals. The customer niche was fulfilled.

We arranged a quick Q&A with Ahmad Nabil, the CEO and founder of VIP Motors to learn more about him and the business.

What made you start a luxury car business? Did you have an edge in the market in your early days?

My passion for cars and appreciation for the world of luxury vehicles encouraged me to start this business. In our early days, we focused on key factors that set us apart.

First and foremost, we prioritized providing exceptional customer service. Understanding the unique needs of luxury car buyers, we tailored our approach to deliver a personalized experience.

Additionally, we curated a selection of prestigious brands and models renowned for their quality, performance, and exclusivity. By establishing strong relationships with the suppliers and the clients, we obtained sought-after vehicles and limited editions that appealed to customers seeking distinction.

Furthermore, we invested in creating a luxurious showroom environment that reflected the elegance of our cars. We aimed to provide an immersive experience that attracts our clients.

Through our unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service, a curated selection, and a welcoming showroom, we differentiated ourselves, gained recognition, and established a loyal customer base.

Where do you see the industry growing in the local region and are you looking to expand VIP Motors outside UAE?

I am optimistic about the growth of the industry in our region as the demand for luxury vehicles is on the rise, fueled by an increasing number of wealthy individuals and a growing appreciation for the luxury lifestyle. 

Regarding expanding our showroom beyond the UAE, it is something we have been actively considering. While we are currently focused on serving our valued clients in the UAE and expanding our showroom, we see potential opportunities in looking into new markets. 

Expanding to other countries would allow us to reach a wider base of luxury car enthusiasts and tap into fresh customer bases. However, we would ensure that any expansion plans align with our commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a luxurious showroom experience. Our priority is to maintain the same level of excellence and attention to detail that has been an important factor in our success so far.

As a leader in the Gulf region, do you see yourself as a role model for newcomers? Can they take an example from you, are you open to partnerships? Do you provide any support or guidance in the industry? And have you helped other companies grow in the region?

I am honored to be seen as a role model & always try my best to be a positive influence for newcomers in the industry. Because I understand the challenges and uncertainties that come with starting a new project I believe in leading by example and setting high standards for professionalism and ethical business practices.

I firmly believe in partnerships & collaboration power so I am open to exploring opportunities for partnerships with like minded businesses and individuals in the industry. By combining our strengths we can create mutually beneficial results and contribute to the overall growth and success of the luxury market.

Support and guidance are essential aspects of growth and development within the industry. I feel happy providing guidance to newcomers who are eager to establish themselves in the luxury car business. Whether it's sharing my insights, offering advice on market trends or providing guidance on effective business strategies, I am always willing to help others navigate their way to success whenever I am able to.

I believe that the growth of the luxury car industry in Dubai and the Gulf region depends on the collective efforts of all businesses. I try my best to support and contribute to the growth of other companies in the region. This can be through sharing resources or promoting collaboration within the industry. By helping other companies thrive and reach their full potential, we can collectively elevate the luxury car market in the region.

Where would you like to see VIP Motors and yourself by 2030? Do you see your business going international and would you like that? And where do you see yourself, still in the car industry or perhaps exploring other sectors of the luxury market like real estate, yachts, and other alternatives? 

By 2030, I envision VIP Motors expanding internationally, establishing a global presence in key cities around the world. 

It would be a thrilling opportunity to introduce our unique luxury vehicles to new clients in diverse markets. Alongside our automotive expertise, I see potential in exploring other sectors of the luxury market, such as real estate, yachts, and other alternatives.

Diversifying our business would match the desires of our esteemed clientele, offering a comprehensive range of high-end experiences. However, this expansion would require careful planning, strategic partnerships and a deep understanding of each market & region which we always keep in mind while setting our strategic and long term plans.
