Digitisation to help India achieve $5 trillion: Satya Nadella
Nationwide digitisation will help India achieve its goal of becoming a $5 trillion economy by 2025, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella says at CEO Connection, a thought leadership programme in Mumbai.
"India is one of the highest growing markets and what percentage of that is going to be driven by AI, is what we all are going to track," he says.
Microsoft CEO says the software giant is going to provide AI skilling opportunities to 2 million people in India by 2025.
Microsoft in India is focused on empowering enterprises, digital natives and small and medium-sized businesses to harness the potential of AI. It offers capabilities like Copilot across Microsoft products and Azure Open AI.
"The ability for companies to build their own AI applications has never been easier," he said. He also explains how HCL Technologies, L&T Mindtree, Infosys and Axis Bank leverage AI-based technologies to achieve new capabilities.
