BMW Group India has introduced the BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro in the country at an ex-showroom price of ₹74.5 lakh. The SUV is being locally produced at the company’s Chennai plant, and bookings have opened across dealerships.
The new variant sits above the existing xDrive20 petrol and xDrive20d diesel trims, adding a more powerful petrol option to the X3 range.
Power comes from a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 258 hp and 400 Nm of torque between 1,600 and 4,600 rpm. BMW claims a 0–100 km/h time of 6.3 seconds.
The SUV gets a 48V mild-hybrid system as standard, aimed at improving responsiveness and efficiency. An 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system are standard.
It also features Adaptive Suspension with electronically controlled dampers, along with selectable drive modes including Sport and Sport Plus.
The M Sport Pro variant gets a blacked-out kidney grille with illumination, adaptive LED headlights with high-beam assistant and cornering lights, and the M Aerodynamic package.
It rides on 20-inch M alloy wheels and is equipped with larger M Sport brakes finished in red.Measuring 4,755 mm in length with a 2,865 mm wheelbase, BMW says it is the longest model in its segment.
The SUV is available in Brooklyn Grey Metallic, Dune Grey Metallic, Alpine White, Individual Tanzanite Blue and Black Sapphire Metallic.
Inside, the X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro comes with BMW’s Curved Display setup — a 12.3-inch instrument screen and a 14.9-inch control display running the latest BMW Operating System 9.
The cabin features a Sensatec-wrapped instrument panel, a flat-bottom M steering wheel with paddle shifters, ventilated sport seats, and Veganza upholstery.
Other features include a panoramic glass sunroof, Harman Kardon sound system with 15 speakers and 750W output, head-up display, rear sunblinds, and ambient lighting elements.
BMW’s latest iDrive with QuickSelect supports touch and voice control. The SUV also offers ConnectedDrive services, BMW Digital Key Plus, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Driving Assistant Plus is standard, bundling Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keep Assist. Parking Assistant Plus adds surround-view cameras, Reversing Assistant and a Drive Recorder function.
Safety features include eight airbags, Dynamic Stability Control, Cornering Brake Control, Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control.
