Electric Flying Flea offers 1 km per minute of charge, 115 km/h top speed and BaaS pricing as phased rollout begins in Bengaluru

Royal Enfield launched its new electric motorcycle—Flying Flea C6 (FF.C6) at ₹2.79 Lakh (ex-showroom) and ₹1.99 Lakh with Battery as a service (BaaS). The FF.C6 will be available for bookings from April 10th at the first Flying Flea store in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, with deliveries set to begin at the end of May 2026.
The electric motorcycle pays homage to the original Flying Flea of the 1940’s - engineered for frontline troops. The bike’s front suspension, incorporates a precision-engineered forged aluminium Girder fork and articulating mudguard. Apparently, the FF.C6 is the only motorcycle on the market today to feature this advanced Girder fork.
The company claims that it has efficient charging of around 1% per minute, with options for Rapid, Standard and Trickle charging using a universal wall outlet. The battery goes from 20% to 80% in just over 60 minutes and delivers approximately 1 km of range per minute of charging. The FF.C6 can be charged using a standard 16 Amp wall outlet, with fast charging enabled by its high-voltage architecture. For longer battery health, riders also have the option to trickle charge.
The setup is powered by a 3.91 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, featuring a durable magnesium alloy casing and an integrated air-cooling ventilation system that maintains a nominal voltage of 101.9V. Delivering the muscle is an air-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor equipped with an integrated MCU control unit. This efficient powertrain generates 15.4 kW of max power and 60 Nm of torque, all channelled through a 2-stage belt drive.
The FF.C6 a top speed of 115 km/h and over 400 Nm of wheel torque, all within a lightweight 124 kgs. It offers lean-angle sensing ABS, traction control, and rider aids like tip-over alert and live location sharing. The motorcycle provides connectivity through WiFi, Bluetooth and 4G, along with remote monitoring.
The motorcycle has joystick-controlled TFT interface, with home and back buttons placed for quick access. Features such as cruise control, voice assist and a programmable button also are present to reduce rider effort.
The motorcycle is available in Storm Black and Flea Green colourways, and the rollout will follow a phased, city-by-city approach.
Speaking on the launch of the motorcycle, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director - Eicher Motors Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer - Royal Enfield, said, “We are excited to introduce the Flying Flea C6, marking our first step into electric motorcycling in our 125th year - a milestone that reflects both our legacy and our intent for new beginnings. The FF.C6 has been built by a dedicated team with deep in-house expertise across hardware and software, resulting in an agile, design and technology-led motorcycle that feels intuitive, connected, and alive to the rider. For the launch of FF.C6, we are taking a steady, city-by-city approach and will initially roll it out in phases. We have a strong pipeline of electric two-wheelers that will continue to build on our vision over time.”
