TVS Motor updates Apache, Ronin motorcycles ahead of festive season; prices start at ₹1.28 lakh

TVS Motor Company has updated several motorcycles across its Apache and Ronin portfolios ahead of the festive season, adding safety, connectivity and convenience features to existing models while introducing new variants. Prices for the updated motorcycles start at ₹1,27,990 for the Apache RTR 160 and go up to ₹2,87,790 for the Apache RR 310 Top with Quickshifter, according to the company.

The changes cover the Apache RTR 160, RTR 160 4V, RTR 200 4V, RR 310 and RTR 310, besides the Ronin. The update comes as the Apache brand crosses 7 million riders across 90 countries, while TVS said the Apache Owners Group has more than 500,000 registered members. Ronin's global customer base stands at over 200,000, the company said.

The updated motorcycles will be available at TVS dealerships across India from September 17.

Vimal Sumbly, Head Business – Premium, TVS Motor Company, said the company was using the festive period to make targeted changes across its premium motorcycles. “This festive season, we are further strengthening our premium motorcycle portfolio with thoughtful and meaningful enhancements,” he said. Sumbly added that the changes across Apache and Ronin were intended to bring together performance, technology, design and the riding experience, while responding to changing customer expectations.

“With over millions of customers across 90 countries,” Sumbly said, the company's focus remained on building differentiated brands and creating experiences that deliver greater value, excitement and pride to customers.

Featured-loaded Apache, Ronin presented

The Apache RTR 160 now gets a Dual Channel ABS variant with Traction Control System (TCS), hazard lamps and LED TSLs. It is priced at ₹1,27,990 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The RTR 160 4V, priced at ₹1,41,440, gets a TFT display with Google Map Mirroring, Panic Brake Alert and a Type-C charger. The RTR 200 4V, at ₹1,49,990, adds front adjustable USD suspension along with the TFT display, map mirroring, Panic Brake Alert and a Type-C charger.

At the upper end of the range, TVS has introduced Black Diamond Editions of the Apache RR 310 and RTR 310, with a new black-focused livery. The RR 310 Top with Quickshifter is priced at ₹2,87,790, while the RTR 310 Top with Quickshifter costs ₹2,48,990. The RR 310 also gets Keyless Ride technology.

The Ronin Base+ is priced at ₹1,42,490 and gets Dual Channel ABS and a new livery. The Mid variant, at ₹1,51,540, adds a connected cluster and Type-C charger, while the Top variant, priced at ₹1,63,640, gains TCS, Type-C charging and a premium seat.
