“During my recent visit to the Netherlands, discussions were held on semiconductors, water, agriculture and advanced manufacturing. In Sweden, there were extensive discussions on cooperation in AI and digital innovation. Norway and India discussed green technology and maritime cooperation, while important agreements were reached with the UAE on strategic, energy and technology partnerships,” he said.

He added that India and Italy had also reached agreements in areas such as defence, critical minerals and science and technology. “All these agreements will directly benefit the youth of India,” the Prime Minister said.

Citing semiconductor manufacturing as an example, Modi referred to a partnership between Dutch semiconductor equipment maker ASML and Tata Group. “India is becoming the world’s most trusted supply chain partner. ASML’s agreement with Tata is a rare partnership that will create countless employment opportunities and open the doors to next-generation technology for India,” he said.

He further said technology collaborations with Sweden and the UAE, particularly in AI and supercomputing, would strengthen India’s technological capabilities and generate new opportunities for young professionals.
