Consolidated revenue from operations rose 11.4% year-on-year to ₹40,475 crore in Q2 FY27, against ₹36,332 crore in the year-ago period, Jio said in an exchange filing. The Reliance group company reported double-digit revenue growth in both its Connectivity (11%) and Digital Services (16%) businesses.

On the operating front, EBITDA increased 16.6% YoY to ₹21,879 crore, compared with ₹18,757 crore in Q2 FY26. EBITDA margin expanded 250 basis points to 54.1%, from 51.6% a year ago, supported by revenue growth and operating leverage.

However, higher finance costs following the capitalisation of 5G assets in March 2026 partly offset the benefit of EBITDA growth, according to the company.

Cash generation remained another key highlight. Jio Platforms reported free cash flow, calculated as EBITDA less cash capital expenditure, of ₹32,130 crore in the first half of FY27, up 98% year-on-year.

Jio's average revenue per user (ARPU) increased to ₹218.8 during the quarter. The company said promotional schemes for fixed broadband customers partly offset the benefits of a better subscriber mix and increased usage.

The telecom operator continued to expand its subscriber base, crossing 300 million 5G mobility subscribers and 30 million fixed broadband subscribers during the quarter. Its overall subscriber base exceeded 542 million, with trailing 12-month net additions of 36 million. Jio added 9.1 million subscribers during Q2 FY27, while monthly churn remained stable at 1.6%.
