The project has been secured by Vyoma.AI, an L&T company, through its AI infrastructure subsidiary LTN Compute, for US-based AI cloud company Together AI.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has entered the AI Factory business with a Mega order valued in the ₹10,000 crore to ₹15,000 crore range to build an NVIDIA B300 AI Factory with a capacity of 10,000 GPUs at its Chennai data centre campus.
The project has been secured by Vyoma.AI, an L&T company, through its AI infrastructure subsidiary LTN Compute, for US-based AI cloud company Together AI. The AI Factory will power Together AI’s AI-native cloud platform for large-scale inference, fine-tuning and training workloads.
The integrated AI Factory will have a capacity of 10,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs and will be hosted at Vyoma’s Chennai data centre campus. The site is described as a gigawatt-scale AI infrastructure facility, with Phase 1 designed for 250 MW and power infrastructure readiness of 150 MVA.
L&T's order classification system defines a Mega order as one valued between ₹10,000 crore and ₹15,000 crore. The company has not disclosed the exact contract value in its announcement.
The infrastructure will combine accelerated computing, high-performance networking, ultra-low-latency interconnects, high-throughput parallel storage and AI infrastructure operations, allowing customers to deploy and scale AI workloads through an end-to-end infrastructure stack.
“Artificial Intelligence is becoming foundational to every industry and AI Factories will power this transformation,” L&T chairman and managing director S N Subrahmanyan said.
He described the deployment of the NVIDIA B300 AI Factory for Together AI as a “significant milestone” in L&T’s Gigawatt AI Infrastructure Mission and said it reinforces the company’s commitment to making India a global hub for next-generation AI infrastructure.
Together AI Co-founder and CEO Vipul Ved Prakash said making AI globally accessible is going to be the “biggest infrastructure build-out in human history.”
“That’s exactly why we partnered with them—to bring the scale, resilience and engineering excellence this moment demands to India,” he said.
L&T shares ended Thursday at ₹4,051.20 on the NSE, up 0.78%, or ₹31.20, from the previous close of ₹4,020. The stock touched an intraday high of ₹4,070.70 and a low of ₹3,990.
The company said the project marks its foray into the AI Factory business, with LTN Compute building AI-ready digital infrastructure across India through hyperscale AI data centres, sovereign cloud platforms, AI Factory services and GPU-as-a-Service.
