Textiles and digital infrastructure drive earnings as company trims low-margin durables and builds strong revenue visibility with ₹890 crore order book

Mafatlal Industries began FY27 on a steady note, with its core textiles and digital infrastructure businesses posting 14.6% year-on-year growth. The company has built an order book of around ₹890 crore, which offers revenue visibility for the coming quarters. The Company also remained focused on improving its business portfolio through a calibrated reduction in lower-margin consumer durables products.
For Q1FY27, the company reported revenue from operations of ₹942.5 crore, an operating EBITDA of ₹23.5 crore and profit before tax (PBT) of ₹19.6 crore. The Company’s running order book stood at approximately ₹890 crore, providing healthy revenue visibility across its core business verticals.
The company’s textiles and related products and digital infrastructure segments continued to be key growth drivers during the quarter, supported by sustained institutional demand and execution momentum. The textile and related products contributed 59.9% of quarterly EBIT, driven by continued momentum in the integrated uniforms division business.
The company said it continues to realign its portfolio by focusing on businesses with stronger growth prospects, while scaling back lower-margin consumer durables to improve the overall quality of its business mix.
In its sustainability initiatives, it commissioned a 4 MWp captive solar power project at the Nadiad manufacturing unit and initiated rainwater harvesting measures.

The company’s market capitalisation stood at ₹960.49 crore. Over the past 52 weeks, the stock has traded between ₹124.07 and ₹157.77, reflecting a relatively narrow trading range.
