Metropolis is part of a 140-acre master-planned development in Daryapur, Jhajjar district of Haryana, which will feature a mix of residential and industrial plots.

Reliance MET City, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries (RIL), has launched Metropolis by MET City, a large-scale integrated mixed-use development in Daryapur, Jhajjar district of Haryana, aimed at creating a new urban hub within Delhi NCR region.
Metropolis is a part of a 140-acre master-planned development that will include residential plots, industrial plots and a future group housing component. In the first phase, the company is launching around 100 acres, with the project being developed in two phases, Reliance MET City said in a release.
As per the release, Metropolis has been designed as a comprehensive ecosystem that brings together residential and industrial development within a single, well-planned township.
“Metropolis has been envisioned as a comprehensive and multi-dimensional development that brings together residential and industrial opportunities within a single, well-planned ecosystem,” the release noted.
Reliance MET City (Model Economic Township) is an 8,250 acre integrated smart city located in the Jhajjar district of Haryana, near Gurugram and Delhi. Developed by Model Economic Township Limited (METL), a 100% subsidiary of RIL, it is designed as a self-sustained urban ecosystem combining industrial hubs, residential zones, and commercial spaces.
The residential segment will offer plotted developments ranging from 112 square yards to 179 square yards, allowing buyers to construct homes based on their preferences. Alongside this, dedicated industrial plots will be offered to businesses looking to set up operations within the broader MET City ecosystem.
The project is ready to move, enabling both homebuyers and industrial investors to begin development immediately and benefit from existing infrastructure and connectivity in the region.
Shrivallabh Goyal, CEO and Whole-Time Director, Reliance MET City, said Metropolis is a key step in the company’s long-term vision. “We are creating more than just a residential project; it is a well-planned ecosystem where people can live close to their workplaces and future opportunities. Our focus is on building a sustainable, future-ready community with strong infrastructure and long-term value,” he said.
Residential plots at Metropolis are priced between ₹99,000 and ₹1.10 lakh per sq yard, targeting both end-users and investors. The project is being developed by Model Economic Township Limited on a self-funded basis, with construction and infrastructure development being carried out in-house.
Strategically located in Village Daryapur on MDR 123, the project offers strong connectivity, with proximity to the KMP Expressway, AIIMS Badsa, the upcoming Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor, and the proposed BCCI International Cricket Stadium. The location provides seamless access to Gurugram and other key NCR hubs while leveraging the established social and industrial infrastructure of Reliance MET City.
Reliance MET City spans 8,250 acres in Jhajjar district and houses over 650 companies from 11 countries, supporting more than 40,000 jobs. The company said Metropolis is designed to integrate residential living, industrial activity and future growth, positioning it as a live-work destination within one of India’s most advanced integrated smart cities.
