Narayana Health acquires UK hospital chain Practice Plus Group Hospitals

The acquisition of the fifth largest private hospital group in UK, which performs around 80,000 surgeries a year, provides Narayana Health access to the UK healthcare market, where demand for surgeries, specially in the private sector, is projected to grow significantly in the coming years.

Bengaluru based Narayana Health has acquired Practice Plus Group Hospitals, UK, to gain to gain control over 12 hospitals and surgical centres, specialising in high quality orthopaedics, ophthalmology and general surgery in the UK for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition of the fifth largest private hospital group in UK, which performs around 80,000 surgeries a year, provides Narayana Health access to the UK healthcare market, where demand for surgeries, specially in the private sector, is projected to grow significantly in the coming years.
