Cinema, cricket spawn most members in maiden list, south superstar Allu Arjun at No.10.

Cricket superstar Virat Kohli’s brand value has been pegged at a staggering ₹3,542 crore in the maiden Fortune India-Interbrand Most Valuable Celebrities list as he tops the list of the 25 most valuable celebs in the country.
The list is the first ever published by Fortune India, in partnership with global brand consultancy firm Interbrand.
Finishing just behind Kohli in the list is movie superstar Shah Rukh Khan who is preparing for his next mega release King. Khan’s brand value has been pegged at ₹3,017 crore. Priyanka Chopra Jonas, India’s global movie star who is currently shooting for S.S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus Varanasi, is at No. 3 on the list, with a brand value of ₹2,507 crore.
Moving well beyond box-office pickings or endorsement earnings, the list is based on the overall brand power of the celebrities with engagement, distinctiveness, coherence, affinity and trust as key markers before arriving at the overall brand value of the celebrities. With an unprecedented number of followers on social media, Virat Kohli’s engagement velocity is unmatched. His authenticity stems from being a high-performance athlete, and he stays coherent to that archetype by committing to health-first brand associations, the Fortune India-Interbrand study finds.
Few brand relationships in global entertainment match the length of SRK’s 25-year association with Hyundai. It reflects something consistent about his commercial profile; he is a stable, long-term asset. Brand SRK scores very high on coherence, trust and distinctiveness.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s multi-hyphenate identity as actor, founder, investor, and producer allows her to link commercial strength, humanitarian credibility, and cultural fluidity. This creates a rare, multi-dimensional equity, both aspirational and authentic, says the study.
M.S Dhoni, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Alia Bhatt and Allu Arjun complete the list of Top 10.
The first-ever Fortune India-Interbrand study is part of the June 2026 issue of Fortune India magazine. The issue has four distinctive covers.
