PitchGround: the New Destination for SaaS Companies to Raise Seed Capital without losing Equity

Starting a business may not be so complicated, but setting it through highs and lows and hitting the goal is what defines success. A well-established professional turned entrepreneur, Udit Goenka also went through his own set of struggles before starting his own business that has become a go-to choice for businesses today. He talks about his challenges and how he overcame them to make PitchGround a successful firm.

1) What do you consider your most outstanding achievement and inspiration?

Achievement is the thing that inspires me, and knowing the fact that our diligent effort and consistency will assist Pitchground in achieving greater heights is what keeps me going towards a successful path. I feel that adjusting the organization's vision and qualities to my own is one approach to accomplish that. When I realize that my endeavors are following the right way, it urges me to push more. Thus, PitchGround’s most significant achievement has been to help all the SaaS Companies who have launched on its Marketplace to seed capital remaining bootstrapped and not losing any equity.

2) Tell us something about your past journey and experiences?

Before starting PitchGround, I wanted to launch my own SaaS but was somehow misguided, leading to a massive setback and failure. As a result, I founded PitchGround too help other SaaS Founders and companies build their online presence and credibility. Before PitchGround, I have made three successful exits so far. To date, we have helped over 30,000+ clients to save over $50m in yearly software spending so far.

Today, most of the SaaS companies are flourishing and have grown into multi-million dollar companies.

3) How well does your product fit into the current market? Can we create to new demand for your product?

It took PitchGround less than six months to find a product-market fit, and since then, we have evolved our platform in growing our user base. Being a leading SaaS solution provider for global businesses with its stalwart pedigree blessing clients and years of deep domain expertise, Pitchground has successfully established itself as a leading giant in the domain. Moving forward, we are focused on building its presence across other verticals and locations.

4) What impact do you think PitchGround will have on the Post-Covid IT segment?

Covid has played a massive role in PitchGround’s journey in a positive way. Companies that were not ready to online now understand its importance and are prepared to start investing in the software.

This also means that companies will have to spend quite a lot on software to sustain themselves. PitchGround’s SaaS Marketplace is built for companies that don't have a large budget but are still required to operate and grow their business online with software help.

Such companies can easily save up to 95% on their software bills when purchasing their software stack via PitchGround, thus helping companies to keep growing.

Today, SaaS companies are using PitchGround as a part of their early-stage growth strategy to onboard thousands of paid early adopters who are helping the company build a better roadmap and spread the word about the company.

5) Are you planning on revamping the style of your services with the continuous shift in the digital era?

We at PitchGround are constantly evolving to meet the needs of our end users. Our culture is highly inspired by Zappos, an e-commerce platform based out of the United States where customers are at the forefront.

6) Moving ahead, what is the company’s long term vision to serve the customers with the same accuracy and credibility

We envision helping creators, agencies, solopreneurs, and businesses to grow their online business with the help of software and the Education-First Driven approach.

However, our vision for the next decade is divided into the following parts:

1. Helping 1M Small business: With our Education first approach, we want to help over 1M small businesses by the end of 2030 by empowering them with the knowledge and ensuring they can afford to grow with the help of affordable software solutions.

2. Connect 1000 SaaS Companies with 10,000 online businesses each: Software companies cannot grow without the help of online companies, and online companies cannot succeed without Software companies. We want to become the bridge between both.

3. 100% Remote team members: We believe small companies lead to higher output and better management, which results in the best possible results from each individual. We think if we focus on quality and not quantity, we can build the best remote team in the world.

4. 100% Independence: We are a firm believer that our customers are our most prominent investors, and we want to serve them till the last day of our existence.
