Sara-Ibrahim mom Amrita Singh buys ₹18 cr apartment for herself in Juhu

Bollywood actress Amrita Singh has bought a ₹18 crore apartment in Juhu, Mumbai in February, according to real estate consulting firm Square Yards.

Juhu, one of Mumbai’s most sought-after residential areas, is home to several Bollywood celebrities. Bollywood stars like Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan and Shakti Kapoor, also own apartments in Juhu, as per Square Yards' analysis of IGR property registration documents.

Known for its scenic beach and upscale restaurants, the locality offers excellent connectivity via the Western Express Highway, Mumbai Metro, and the international airport, while being close to business hubs like Andheri and Bandra.

The newly acquired apartment by the Bollywood actress is in the Peninsula building within Nutan Laxmi Cooperative Housing Society, a ready-to-move-in residential project. According to IGR property registration documents reviewed by the real estate consulting firm, the apartment has a built-up area of 252.04 sq. m. (~2,712.9 sq. ft.) and comes with three car parking spaces. The transaction involved a stamp duty payment of ₹90 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000.

Nutan Laxmi CHS is a well-connected residential complex catering to Mumbai’s affluent families. Spread across three towers, it offers spacious 3,000 sq. ft. apartments in the Western Suburbs, with convenient access to key areas of the city. The project features a shopping centre for daily needs and is well linked to Swami Vivekanand Road, Mumbai Airport, and Mumbai Central Railway Station.

Amrita Singh rose to fame in the 1980s with her debut in Betaab (1983), a major box office success. Known for her versatility, she delivered acclaimed performances in films such as Mard, Naam, Chameli Ki Shaadi, and Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. After a hiatus, she made a strong comeback with Kalyug and Shootout at Lokhandwala, reaffirming her acting prowess. Her role in Aaina earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress, and she later received praise for her performance in 2 States. Amrita Singh was married to Saif Ali Khan until their separation in 2004. The couple has two children, Ibrahim and Sara Ali Khan.
