Prime Minister Narendra Modi today urged the global world to narrow the trust deficit which has crept after the Covid crisis. He also said the global trust deficit has deepened due to the Russia Ukraine war. In his opening remarks during the G20 summit in New Delhi today, PM Modi said, “Post Covid-19, trust deficit among the nations has emerged as a huge challenge. War has deepened the trust deficit. If we can defeat Covid, we can also ensure victory over the challenges to our mutual trust.”
Modi also said disturbances in the global economy, bringing East closer to the West, cyber security, terror, health and water security are the challenges for which concrete solutions need to be found.
