Multiple growth drivers including large scale interventions in public health, mainstreaming of India’s traditional systems of medicines and global positioning of AYUSH saw the size of the AYUSH sector grow from $ 3 billion in 2014 to $ 24 billion in 2024. A study done on AYUSH’s contribution to Covid found that out of 1.35 crore respondents, 89.9% used AYUSH intervention during Covid.
