Gujarat Chief Minister invites domestic and global investors to tap opportunities in manufacturing, new technologies and green growth as the state prepares for the 11th Vibrant Gujarat summit.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Monday invited domestic and global investors, entrepreneurs and business leaders to invest in the state, highlighting opportunities in manufacturing, new technologies and green growth ahead of the 11th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2027.
“Today, I invite domestic and global investors, entrepreneurs and business leaders to come to Gujarat,” Patel said at the New Delhi event. “Please come and participate in the development of the state and invest in new technologies. Set up new manufacturing capacities, and explore opportunities in green growth.” The three-day summit will begin on January 10, 2027.
Patel said the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, initiated under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership in 2003, had become a symbol of global investors’ trust in Gujarat and a knowledge-sharing platform. He said policy stability, transparent decision-making and swift governance had created a conducive environment for attracting investment.
Gujarat has attracted $74.6 billion between January 2000 and March 2026, according to the inputs shared at the event.
The chief minister said Gujarat had proven its strength in traditional industries and was now gearing up to take the lead in future industries. VGGS 2027, themed “Viksit Gujarat – Shaping Global Future”, will focus on emerging sectors including soft power, semiconductors, fintech, green hydrogen and artificial intelligence, along with green growth.
Patel said Gujarat had created an investor-friendly ecosystem based on policy stability, transparency, skilled manpower, trust and security. He said the state was fully prepared to advance the ‘Saptadhara’ development vision outlined by Modi on Independence Day.
The seven development streams cover manufacturing, agro-food production and food processing, technology and innovation, logistics, defence, the green and blue economy, and soft power.
Patel said VGGS 2027 would give new momentum to each of these streams by bringing together Gujarat’s capabilities in manufacturing and the diamond industry, productivity in agriculture, innovation in technology, connectivity through Gati Shakti, defence manufacturing, the state’s natural strengths in the green and blue economy, and its culture in soft power.
The chief minister also highlighted Gujarat’s “Development with Delivery” approach, saying the Gujarat Model goes beyond roads, electricity, water and industries to offer investors land and infrastructure along with policy stability, speed, transparency, skilled manpower, trust and security.
With VGGS 2027 marking 25 years of Gujarat’s continuous development under Modi’s leadership, Patel said the summit would help translate the state’s existing industrial strengths into new opportunities in future industries.
