Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 launched in India at ₹44,300; Audio glasses and Muse AI agent also announced

Actor Ranveer Singh has been named the first India brand ambassador for Ray-Ban and Ray-Ban Meta as the eyewear brand and Meta expand their AI glasses lineup in the country.
The partnership will see Singh feature in Ray-Ban's “Frame Your True Self” campaign. The actor has previously worked with Meta on multiple collaborations.
“Ray-Ban has always stood for individuality, and that is something I have connected with for as long as I can remember,” Singh said. “A combination of these iconic styles and cutting-edge technology with Ray-Ban Meta makes this partnership feel so natural.”
The announcement also comes with the India launch of Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3, the latest version of Meta's AI-powered glasses.
The new glasses are available in India with prices starting at ₹44,300 through Meta, Ray-Ban and consumer electronics and eyewear retailers.
The Gen 3 range comes in 27 colour and lens combinations across three styles—Aviator, Zena and Wayfarer. A limited-edition Aviator has also been announced to mark the 90th anniversary of the style.
The glasses offer up to nine hours of battery life, an hour more than the previous generation. They also get a customisable action button for quicker access to Meta AI and professional-adjustable temple tips.
The glasses have a 12MP camera and can record videos in 3K Ultra HD. A six-microphone array is claimed to cut more than 90% of background noise during calls and voice commands.
As with previous versions, an LED indicator lets people around the wearer know when the camera is being used.
Meta has also announced Ray-Ban Meta Audio, described as its lightest and slimmest AI glasses so far. The glasses weigh 43 grams and offer up to 12 hours of use on a single charge, with the charging case providing another 48 hours.
The Audio glasses are designed primarily around listening, calls and hands-free access to AI, and are expected to arrive in India in the coming months.
Meta is also bringing Muse, its personal AI agent, to its AI glasses. Muse will be able to respond to what the wearer is looking at, allowing users to ask questions about objects, products or information in front of them without having to describe them first.
The company said Muse will be introduced to its AI glasses in the coming months.
