Under the collaboration, TCS and AMD will jointly develop industry-specific AI and generative AI solutions by combining TCS’s domain expertise and systems integration capabilities with AMD’s computing hardware portfolio. Additionally, industry-specific GenAI frameworks will be developed for sectors such as life sciences (drug discovery), manufacturing (cognitive quality engineering and smart manufacturing), and BFSI (intelligent risk management). The collaboration plans to deliver tailored accelerators, frameworks, and best practices to boost AI performance across both training and inference workloads, helping ensure organisations can fully harness the power of AI.

From a technology perspective, TCS will integrate AMD Ryzen CPU-powered client devices to support workplace transformation initiatives. For data centre, cloud, and high-performance computing environments, the collaboration will leverage AMD EPYC CPUs, AMD Instinct GPUs, and other AI accelerators. AMD’s embedded computing portfolio, including adaptive system-on-chips and field-programmable gate arrays, will be used for edge computing, industrial digitalisation, and real-time inference use cases.

A key element of the partnership is talent development. TCS will rapidly upskill and certify its employees on AMD hardware and software platforms, while both companies invest in building a pool of specialists capable of co-developing and deploying enterprise-grade AI solutions.
