Kia India launches 2026 Seltos at ₹10.99 lakh

Kia India launched the new Seltos today, with prices starting from ₹10.99 lakh and going up to ₹19.99 lakh. Bookings had already commenced since December 11, 2025, for a token amount of ₹25,000, with deliveries set to start from mid-January.

Variants and pricing:

For the Smartstream G1.5 6MT, prices start at ₹10.99 lakh for the HTE variant. The HTE (O) with Convenience & Styling Pack is priced at ₹12.09 lakh, HTK at ₹13.09 lakh, HTK (O) at ₹14.19 lakh, HTX at ₹15.59 lakh, and HTX (A) with ADAS at ₹16.69 lakh.

The Smartstream G1.5 IVT (automatic) begins at ₹13.39 lakh for the HTE (O). Prices move up to ₹14.39 lakh for HTK, ₹15.49 lakh for HTK (O), ₹16.89 lakh for HTX, and ₹17.99 lakh for HTX (A). The GT/X-Line variants are priced at ₹18.39 lakh and ₹19.49 lakh respectively.

For the Smartstream G1.5 T-GDi 6MT, the HTE (O) variant is priced at ₹12.89 lakh, HTK at ₹13.89 lakh, and HTK (O) at ₹14.99 lakh. Higher trims are not available with this powertrain.

The Smartstream G1.5 T-GDi 7DCT starts at ₹16.29 lakh for HTK, goes up to ₹17.69 lakh for HTK (O), ₹18.79 lakh for HTX, ₹19.19 lakh for GTX, and ₹19.99 lakh for GTX (A).

For the diesel lineup, the 1.5L CRDi VGT 6MT begins at ₹12.59 lakh (HTE), rising to ₹13.69 lakh (HTE O), ₹14.69 lakh (HTK), ₹15.79 lakh (HTK O), ₹17.19 lakh (HTX), and ₹18.29 lakh (HTX A).

Finally, the 1.5L CRDi VGT 6AT starts at ₹14.99 lakh, goes up to ₹15.99 lakh, ₹17.09 lakh, ₹18.49 lakh, ₹19.59 lakh, and tops out at ₹19.99 lakh for the fully loaded GTX (A).

Here's what all changed in the 2026 Kia Seltos

Appearance: The Seltos comes with a facelift, while also inching up a size bigger from its predecessor, as the length of the SUV has grown by 95 mm to 4,460 mm, while the width has increased to 1,830 mm, up by 30 mm. The SUV’s wheelbase too has increased by 80 mm to 2,690 mm, but the height has come down by 10 mm.

Seltos, embodying Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design, comes with a new Digital Tiger Face with a black high-gloss grille with dark gunmetal accents, ice cube LED projection headlamps with dynamic welcome function, star map LED DRLs with integrated turn signal, LED fog lamps, and star map LED connected tail lamps. 

The SUV stands on R18 (46.2 cm) crystal cut alloy wheels with neon brake callipers, an integrated rear spoiler with hidden rear wiper, and first-in-segment automatic streamline door handles, with robust front & rear skid plates with dark gunmetal finish. 

The all-new Kia Seltos will be available in 10 mono-tone colour options, including two new shades in the Kia India lineup, i.e., Morning Haze and Magma Red. 

Interiors: The cabin will be offered in Smoky Black & White dual-tone interiors with white accents and leatherette seats. The SUV features a 75.18 cm (30-inch) three-screen display panel. This is paired with a double D-cut dual-tone leatherette-wrapped steering wheel. The 10-way power driver seat with power lumbar adjust and an indulgent relaxation function, integrated memory driver seat synced with ORVM settings, and ventilated front seats, supported by the welcome retract seat function that automatically adjusts for easy entry and exit.

Rear passengers enjoy 60:40 split seats with recline adjust, sunshade curtains, and Type-C USB charging ports at both front and rear, and boast a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. 

Technology: The first-in-segment smart key proximity unlock function enables keyless access, along with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. The upgraded Kia Connect 2.0 suite, combined with Over-the-Air software updates, comes along with a Bose sound system with 8 speakers, 64-colour ambient mood lighting, and seamless convenience through the smartphone wireless charger. The Kia Connect Diagnosis feature and a suite of connected functionalities would further enhance convenience, safety, and personalisation for the customers. 

Safety: Built on Kia’s global K3 platform – making its India debut – the new Seltos combines high-strength steel, structural reinforcements, and increased hot-stamped components for crash protection and rigidity. It features a 24 standard safety pack including 6 airbags, Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Rollover Sensor, and Rear Occupant Alert, to name a few. The ADAS Level 2 suite with 21 autonomous safety features — including Forward Collision Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, among others also consists of Blind View Monitor, 360°Surround Camera, and Side Parking Sensors.
