Kia India today unveiled the all-new Kia Seltos, while the prices will be revealed on January 2, 2026. Bookings will open nationwide from midnight on December 11 with the reservation amount of ₹25,000.

Here’s what changed - 

Appearance: The Seltos comes with a facelift, while also inching up a size bigger from its predecessor, as the length of the SUV has grown by 95 mm to 4,460 mm, while the width has increased to 1,830 mm, up by 30 mm. The SUV’s wheelbase too has increased by 80 mm to 2,690 mm, but the height has come down by 10 mm.

Seltos, embodying Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design, comes with a new Digital Tiger Face with a black high-gloss grille with dark gunmetal accents, ice cube LED projection headlamps with dynamic welcome function, star map LED DRLs with integrated turn signal, LED fog lamps, and star map LED connected tail lamps. 

The SUV stands on R18 (46.2 cm) crystal cut alloy wheels with neon brake callipers, an integrated rear spoiler with hidden rear wiper, and first-in-segment automatic streamline door handles, with robust front & rear skid plates with dark gunmetal finish. 

The all-new Kia Seltos will be available in 10 mono-tone colour options, including two new shades in the Kia India lineup, i.e., Morning Haze and Magma Red.

Interiors: The cabin will be offered in Smoky Black & White dual-tone interiors with white accents and leatherette seats. The SUV features a 75.18 cm (30-inch) three-screen display panel. This is paired with a double D-cut dual-tone leatherette-wrapped steering wheel. The 10-way power driver seat with power lumbar adjust and an indulgent relaxation function, integrated memory driver seat synced with ORVM settings, and ventilated front seats, supported by the welcome retract seat function that automatically adjusts for easy entry and exit.

 Rear passengers enjoy 60:40 split seats with recline adjust, sunshade curtains, and Type-C USB charging ports at both front and rear, and boast a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. 

Technology: The first-in-segment smart key proximity unlock function enables keyless access, along with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. The upgraded Kia Connect 2.0 suite, combined with Over-the-Air software updates, comes along with a Bose sound system with 8 speakers, 64-colour ambient mood lighting, and seamless convenience through the smartphone wireless charger. The Kia Connect Diagnosis feature and a suite of connected functionalities would further enhance convenience, safety, and personalisation for the customers. 

Safety: Built on Kia’s global K3 platform – making its India debut – the new Seltos combines high-strength steel, structural reinforcements, and increased hot-stamped components for crash protection and rigidity. It features a 24 standard safety pack including 6 airbags, Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Rollover Sensor, and Rear Occupant Alert, to name a few. The ADAS Level 2 suite with 21 autonomous safety features — including Forward Collision Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, among others also consists of Blind View Monitor, 360°Surround Camera, and Side Parking Sensors.

What are the powertrain options available?

The Seltos will be made available in the Smartstream G1.5 Petrol (115PS, 144Nm), Smartstream G1.5 T-GDI Petrol (160PS, 253Nm) or 1.5l CRDi VGT Diesel (116PS, 250Nm) engines. The All-New Kia Seltos offers a wide range of transmission choices – including 6MT, 6iMT, IVT,7DCT and 6AT for effortless performance and driving flexibility.

The lineup spans four standard trims — HTE, HTK, HTX, and GTX — along with four option variants: HTE(O), HTK(O), HTX(A), GTX(A). For added distinction, the X-Line Styling Pack is exclusively offered on GTX & GTX(A). Combined with Convenience, Premium, ADAS, and X-Line add-on packages, customers have complete freedom to configure a Seltos that meets their style, comfort, and performance preferences.
