Eicher Motors-owned Royal Enfield said on Friday that it has entered into a partnership with homegrown e-commerce marketplace to make its 350cc motorcycle range available on Flipkart from September 22, the day on which the GST reforms come into effect.

Starting September 22, Royal Enfield’s 350cc motorcycle lineup—the Bullet 350, Classic 350, Hunter 350, Goan Classic 350 and the new Meteor 350—will be available on Flipkart in five cities, namely Gurugram, Lucknow, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru. The partnership will also offer customers flexible payment options, making purchases more convenient and accessible.

The deliveries and after-sales service support of the purchased motorcycles will be provided by the authorised Royal Enfield dealer of their choice in these cities. “Partnering with Flipkart allows us to meet today’s digital-first customers where they are, requiring a simple, convenient way to explore and purchase their motorcycles online,” B Govindarajan, managing director, Eicher Motors and CEO, Royal Enfield, said in a statement.

The Year Of EV Launches

September 2025

2025 is shaping up to be the year of electric car sales. In a first, India’s electric vehicles (EV) industry crossed the sales milestone of 100,000 units in FY25, fuelled by a slew of launches by major players, including Tata Motors, M&M, Ashok Leyland, JSW MG Motor, Hyundai, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. The issue also looks at the challenges ahead for Tata Sons chairman N. Chandrasekaran in his third term, and India’s possible responses to U.S. president Donald Trump’s 50% tariff on Indian goods. According to Govindarajan, the service—currently available in five cities—will be expanded to more cities soon, and will provide flexibility and convenience in the purchase journey, while ensuring the final handover through authorised dealer partners. The buyers of the 350cc motorcycles from Flipkart will also enjoy the reduced GST on motorcycles less than 350cc, which will come into effect from September 22 as well.

In April, Suzuki Motorcycle India partnered with Flipkart to offer online bookings of its scooters and motorcycle range. The initial rollout was conducted in eight states, namely Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Meghalaya, and Mizoram. Customers can currently book the Avenis, the V-Strom SX, and the Gixxer series of motorcycles from Flipkart.

Like Royal Enfield, once the booking has been made, the delivery process of documentation, registration, and after-sales support is handled by the nearest Suzuki dealership. Royal Enfield and Suzuki have joined a growing legion of two-wheelers that are offering bookings for their vehicles on Flipkart. Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj, KTM, TVS, and Ather can already be booked on the Flipkart app.

Earlier this month, Royal Enfield said that it will pass the full benefit of the GST rate reduction to its customers across its motorcycle business, service, apparel and accessories range, following the recent reforms introduced by the GST Council. The 350cc portfolio of Royal Enfield will see benefits of up to ₹22,000, effective September 22.
