Budget 2023: Centre's priority to roads, highways continues

Capital expenditure on roads and highways is projected to be ₹2.5 lakh crore in the Union Budget for FY24, which is 25% higher than that of the revised estimate for FY23. Capital expenditure in FY23 is up by 80% as compared to the previous fiscal.
