Federal Bank, in partnership with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and Visa, has launched Fed StarBiz, a credit card tailored for business customers. Designed for SMEs, this marks the bank’s strategic foray into the business and commercial cards segment.

“The credit card is available in both RuPay and Visa variants. The card is linked to the customer’s Overdraft or Cash Credit account is designed to provide our business customers with the financial flexibility and security they need to thrive in today's competitive environment,” said Shalini Warrier, Executive Director at Federal Bank during the inaugural ceremony.

Some of the key features the bank’s latest offering includes it is linked to existing Overdraft or Cash Credit accounts with limits up to ₹50 lakh. With the card, users can make transactions up to ₹3 lakh per day or up to the available account limit. The bank offers advanced tokenisation and encryption protect every transaction.

Federal Bank operates Representative Offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, serving NRIs in the UAE, and an IFSC Banking Unit in GIFT City.
