Parul University Secures Place in the 1601-1800 Band in Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2027

Parul University has been ranked within the 1601-1800 band in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2027 becoming the only university in Gujarat to get a global ranking in the 2027 edition. This is another important milestone in the University’s growing footprint on the global higher education landscape, and a reflection of its ongoing efforts toward enhancing research, academic quality, international engagement and industry-oriented knowledge creation.
THE World University Rankings 2027 rankings include 2,297 institutions from 118 countries and territories and are widely recognized as a global benchmark of university performance, trusted by students, academics, governments and industry experts. The rankings assess research-intensive universities across five key dimensions: Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, International Outlook and Industry, using a comprehensive framework of 17 performance indicators.
Parul University has made a commendable performance in Research Quality and International Outlook. In the comparison of 106 Indian institutions, the University was ranked 77th in terms of Research Quality and 16th in terms of International Outlook. These rankings reflect the University’s performance in areas that are critical for increasing research impact and furthering engagement with the global academic community. This latest recognition also builds on the growing journey of Parul University across the Times Higher Education rankings ecosystem. Last year the University featured for the first time in the THE Impact Rankings, Sustainability, its first appearance in THE’s evaluation of the contribution of universities to sustainable development.
