Breitling on time for the festive season

Breitling introduces two 36 mm watches for the holiday season, the Navitimer Automatic 36 and Superocean Heritage Automatic 36, combining stainless steel with 18k yellow gold. White dials, ceramic details and mother-of-pearl bring contrast to the gold accents, offering a new take on two established collections.
While Breitling has used red gold in recent years, yellow gold has featured less frequently. The new models return to the traditional gold tone, pairing it with stainless steel for a two-tone finish.
“Yellow gold is a metal that carries unmatched cultural value,” says Breitling CEO Jean-Marc Pontroué. “Using gold’s natural colour makes a bold statement. These two-tone watches strike the right balance to give the classic style a fresh touch. The use of yellow gold against the white elements on the dial and bezel creates a distinctive contrast.”
A closer look at the watches
The Navitimer Automatic 36 features a case and bracelet in stainless steel and 18k yellow gold. Its mother-of-pearl dial has a natural finish, complemented by diamond hour markers. The time-only display keeps the design straightforward, while the choice of a seven-row two-tone bracelet or a brown alligator leather strap with a folding clasp offers two different ways to wear the watch.
Powering the Navitimer is the Breitling Caliber 17, an automatic, COSC-certified chronometer movement with a power reserve of approximately 38 hours.
The Superocean Heritage Automatic 36 takes a different approach to the combination. Its white dial and white ceramic bezel insert contrast with an 18k yellow-gold bezel, while gold hands, hour markers and bezel markers complete the design. The watch is available with either a white rubber strap or a stainless steel mesh bracelet.
Inside, the Breitling Caliber 10 powers the hours, minutes and date. The automatic movement is COSC-certified and provides a power reserve of approximately 42 hours.
