“India is one of the most promising luxury fragrance markets globally, driven by a young, aspirational consumer base and a growing appreciation for prestigious international brands,” said Philippe Benacin, Co-founder and CEO, INTERPARFUMS SA. He added that the company’s portfolio was “built on decades of craftsmanship, innovation, and enduring brand equity” and expressed confidence in GSSBB’s ability to develop the brands in the market. “We are delighted to introduce our brands to Indian consumers with a partner that possesses deep market expertise and a strong understanding of the luxury beauty landscape,” he said. “Global SS Beauty Brands brings the retail excellence and strategic insight needed to build our brands with purpose, and we look forward to a long-term, successful partnership.”

For GSSBB, the partnership represents another step in its strategy to strengthen India’s luxury fragrance segment and expand its portfolio of international beauty brands. Biju Kassim, MD and CEO, Global SS Beauty Brands Ltd, described the collaboration as “another important milestone in our journey to strengthen the luxury fragrance category in India.”

“As consumer demand for globally renowned prestige brands continues to grow, our focus is on building these brands for the long term through thoughtful market development, meaningful consumer engagement, and exceptional retail experiences,” said Kassim. He noted that INTERPARFUMS’ portfolio “represents some of the world’s most iconic fragrance brands” and added that GSSBB was looking forward to “unlock their full potential in India while further reinforcing Global SS Beauty Brands as the partner of choice for leading global beauty brands.”

The partnership is expected to combine INTERPARFUMS’ global brand-building capabilities and fragrance expertise with GSSBB’s retail reach, market insights and understanding of Indian consumers. Together, the companies aim to develop long-term brand equity while responding to the evolving preferences of India’s increasingly aspirational luxury consumer.
