Dr. Bina Modi is the Chairperson and Managing Director of Godfrey Phillips India Ltd. Following the passing of her husband, K.K. Modi, in November 2019, she assumed leadership roles within Modi Enterprises, including Chairperson of Modi Enterprises and Managing Director of Indofil Industries Ltd. An accomplished entrepreneur, Dr. Modi has founded several ventures, such as Bina Fashions, the Ego chain of specialty restaurants, Dessange luxury salons, and Beacon Travels. Her contributions have been recognised with awards like the 'Women of the Decade in Business & Leadership 2018' by the Women Economic Forum. In May 2024, she was honored by the Vice President of India for her outstanding contributions to Corporate Social Responsibility. ​
