Daisy Chittilapilly
President, India & South Asia, CiscoAbout
At the helm of a market where AI adoption is exploding, Daisy Chittilapilly is bullish on Cisco’s prospects. Her optimism is backed by the Cisco AI Readiness Study 2025, which said the Indian market recorded the highest growth in its product revenue stream. Cisco sees a real opportunity in India. But the country needs to pay attention to three non-negotiables, says Chittilapilly. “One, a unified network built for AI workloads from edge to cloud; two, an integrated security framework; and three, end-to-end observability—real-time visibility across every system and every decision AI is making.” These are key to addressing the AI readiness gap. She also sees AI accelerating public service delivery, thereby benefitting sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, and governance. With enterprises putting security at the core of agentic implementation, boardrooms across India are no longer asking whether to invest in AI. “They are asking how to build the foundation that makes it trustworthy. And, that’s exactly the gap Cisco is closing.”
