Kami Viswanathan is the President of FedEx Express for the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent, and Africa (MEISA) region, overseeing operations across more than 80 countries. She joined FedEx in February 2021 as Vice President of Marketing for MEISA, focusing on strategy, commercial growth, and leading corporate innovation efforts out of India. In June 2022, she assumed her current role, driving the company's expansion and establishing strategic partnerships in India, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. Notably, she led the inauguration of FedEx's $350 million regional hub at Dubai World Central Airport in February 2024. With over two decades of experience spanning consulting, entrepreneurship, and investing, Viswanathan co-founded Lumina Datamatics, a provider of educational content and technology solutions, and founded work4.0 capital, focusing on the future of work. She has also served on the strategic advisory board of GSV Ventures, a U.S.-based education technology fund. An alumna of Harvard Business School and the National Law School of India, she is a fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Network and serves on the board of the U.S.-India Business Council and the South Asia advisory board of Harvard Business School. Under her leadership, FedEx has embraced technological advancements, integrating AI, IoT, and blockchain to enhance logistics and supply chain operations in the MEISA region.
