The duo, who met at Ogilvy & Mather, founded Happy Creative in 2007. Their first Flipkart TV ad, The Granny and The Mouse, failed to drive consumers, leading them and Flipkart to rethink their approach. The No Kidding campaign, spearheaded by Flipkart’s marketing chief Ravi Vora, used kids with adult voiceovers to highlight key service benefits, like cash-on-delivery. The campaign significantly boosted Flipkart’s traffic, cementing its place in Indian e-commerce. Even today, Flipkart accounts for 50% of Happy Creative’s billings.
