About
This year, Mavely’s medtech company launched MaxioCel, an advanced wound care product for diabetic patients. Made of chitosan, a substance that stops bleeding and helps tissue regeneration, it offers faster healing of chronic wounds like pressure ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers. Founded in 2008, Axio Biosolutions also sells single-use bandages made of a material obtained from crustacean shells to the Indian Army, the BSF, and security forces in West Asia and Europe. It is also launching in the U.S. in the next quarter after getting USFDA approval for its bandages. “India is still the focus but we have started building teams outside,” Mavely says.
