Namita Thapar is the Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra. Thapar earned her Chartered Accountancy from ICAI and completed an MBA at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Thapar began her career at Guidant Corporation in the U.S., gaining six years of experience before joining Emcure as CFO. She later assumed leadership of Emcure's India Business, driving growth and market expansion. Beyond her corporate role, Thapar is passionate about women's health and youth entrepreneurship, founding Incredible Ventures Ltd. to foster entrepreneurial skills among young individuals. She also serves as a judge on the Indian edition of "Shark Tank," supporting emerging startups.
