Naveen Jamal co-founded Impermium, a cybersecurity startup in Redwood City, California, along with Mark Risher and Vish Ramarao. Their technology processes security breaches in real time across 150,000 websites, including CNN Sports, Tumblr, and Pinterest. Impermium’s system identifies emerging threats on obscure blogs or portals, learns attacker attributes, and sends alerts to its member sites. In June 2013, Jamal relocated to India to strengthen the company's tech team. His efforts paid off—Google acquired Impermium in mid-January 2014. He later worked at Swiggy and currently is the founder of Playfully, a gaming app for parents and children
