About

Dhirubhai Ambani once said, “For those who dare to dream, there is a whole world to win.” And someone in the family who has dreamt expansively and inclusively is his daughter-in-law, Nita Ambani. As chairperson of Reliance Foundation, she focusses on building institutions that combine scale with social impact, while advancing the vision of inclusive growth. Since its inception, the foundation has touched more than 97 million lives through its social initiatives. In FY26 alone, it spent ₹2,248 crore on CSR programmes, up from ₹2,156 crore the previous year. Looking ahead, Ambani has outlined plans to expand the foundation’s social impact five-fold by 2035, including the establishment of a medical college, integrated with a 2,000-bed medical city in Mumbai. At Vantara, the foundation’s wildlife conservation initiative in Jamnagar, she envisions creating the world’s first wildlife university. “I’m excited about what we can achieve in the coming years.” “For us, ‘doing good’ is not only an initiative and ‘WE CARE’ is not only a philosophy. It is a way of life... True power lies in uplifting others,” she says.
