For those who had to be in office during the pandemic to keep critical operations running, a visit to the cafeteria was stressful. But HungerBox—which offers end-to-end F&B operations management to over 500 corporate cafeterias in India—used artificial intelligence and machine learning to address social distancing and safety norms for its clients during the pandemic. This ensures that employees visit cafeterias only when it is safe. Till date, the startup—whose client roster includes Accenture, TCS, Hyundai, and Unilever—has raised $16.5 million in funding from investors such as Paytm, Sabre, Infosys co-founder Kris Gopalakrishnan, and others.
