Pavitra Shankar and Nirupa Shankar are pivotal leaders at Brigade Group, a prominent Indian real estate developer. Pavitra serves as the Managing Director, overseeing the company's residential business strategy, with a focus on sales, marketing, finance, and customer experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics from the University of Virginia and an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from Columbia Business School. Before joining Brigade, Pavitra founded Legion Real Estate in California. Nirupa is the Joint Managing Director, responsible for the company's hotel, office, and retail portfolios. She earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Virginia and a master’s in hospitality management from Cornell University. Nirupa was instrumental in establishing Brigade REAP, Asia's first real estate accelerator, in 2016. An avid athlete, she has participated in marathons and triathlons, including the Ironman Copenhagen in 2023. Both sisters are daughters of M.R. Jaishankar, the founder and Executive Chairman of Brigade Group. Their leadership continues to drive the company's growth and innovation in the real estate sector.
