After selling out in minutes, the automaker opens a brief window to meet continued customer interest

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) has reopened bookings for its BE 6 ‘Batman Edition’ electric SUV after the first 999 units sold out within minutes of launch. The company cited continued demand from buyers who missed the original allocation as the reason for the limited-time booking window.
Bookings will open on March 10 for one day, with deliveries scheduled to start from April 10. Customers can indicate their preferences on Mahindra’s website from March 6. Referrals from existing BE 6 Batman Edition owners will receive priority in delivery scheduling.
A Mahindra spokesperson said, “Interest in the BE 6 Batman Edition remained strong even after the first 999 units were sold. We are reopening bookings for a limited period to give customers another opportunity to own the vehicle.”
The BE 6 Batman Edition is based on the top-spec Pack Three 79 kWh variant of Mahindra’s BE 6 electric SUV and was developed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. It incorporates multiple franchise-inspired design elements, including a satin black exterior, 20-inch alloy wheels, gold-accented suspension and brake calipers, and custom Batman-themed decals across the exterior.
Inside, the SUV features suede and leather upholstery with gold stitching, a brushed-gold dashboard plaque, themed seat embossing, a gold-accented steering wheel, and bespoke graphics on the infotainment display. Custom exterior engine sounds complete the thematic experience.
Mahindra has been expanding its electric vehicle portfolio under the ‘Electric Origin’ SUV lineup, with the BE 6 positioned as a flagship premium EV. The Batman Edition is part of the automaker’s strategy to drive engagement through limited editions and collaborations tied to global entertainment franchises.
