Amazon India has rolled out a dedicated storefront, The Great Savings Celebration, to mark the implementation of India’s new GST reforms effective from today. The storefront will highlight products carrying GST savings across categories such as home appliances, electronics, daily essentials, healthcare, and fashion. The launch comes just ahead of the Amazon Great Indian Festival (AGIF) 2025, which begins September 23, with Prime members getting early access from midnight September 22.
GST savings for customers
Products under the new storefront will carry special badges reflecting applicable GST savings - “Prime Deal + GST Savings” during the early access window and “Deal with GST Savings” during the main event. “This festive season, customers can maximise their savings with GST benefits, exciting offers, and an unmatched selection,” Amazon said in its announcement.
The event will feature over one lakh products and 30,000+ new launches from brands like Samsung, Apple, Intel, Titan, Libas, and L’Oréal.

Support for sellers
Alongside consumer-facing deals, Amazon said it has worked with sellers to ensure a smooth transition to the new GST regime. Sellers remain responsible for applying the correct GST rates and product tax codes, but Amazon is assisting with automatic updates for select categories and providing resources such as GST masterclasses. “We are enabling [sellers] to conveniently pass on benefits of GST reductions to customers in applicable product categories,” the company said.
