Televisions benefited from rising demand for larger screens, refrigerators saw stronger traction for premium capacities, while air conditioners gained from extended summer demand.

LG Electronics India reported a 27.2% year-on-year increase in profit after tax (PAT) to ₹652.9 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with ₹513.3 crore in the year-ago period, as premium demand across consumer electronics and strong summer sales helped drive both revenue and profitability.
Revenue from operations rose 15.5% to ₹7,233.4 crore from ₹6,262.9 crore in Q1 FY26. EBITDA increased 26.2% to ₹904.3 crore, while the EBITDA margin expanded to 12.5% from 11.4%, an improvement of 106 basis points. The company described the quarter as its strongest quarterly performance since listing.
LG Electronics India said growth was broad-based, with every category contributing to the quarterly performance. Televisions benefited from rising demand for larger screens, refrigerators saw stronger traction for premium capacities, while air conditioners gained from extended summer demand.
The home appliances & air solution segment recorded revenue growth of 13.6% to ₹5,577 crore, with segment EBIT rising 13.8% to ₹642 crore. The company said premium formats such as french door and side-by-side refrigerators, large-capacity washing machines and dishwashers performed strongly.
The home entertainment segment was the standout performer, with revenue rising 22.3% to ₹1,657 crore. Segment EBIT jumped 48.5% to ₹315 crore, while its EBIT margin expanded to 19% from 15.7%.
LG Electronics India managing director Hong Ju Jeon said the results reflected a structural shift in consumer demand towards premium and technology-led products.
“India's consumer durables market is undergoing a structural shift towards premium, technology-led & energy-efficient products,” Jeon said. “Profit grew at nearly twice the pace of revenue, and every category contributed, which tells us the growth is durable rather than seasonal.”
The company attributed the expansion in profitability to a richer premium product mix, operating leverage from higher volumes and cost discipline. It also said exports continued to grow during the quarter, while its B2B Information Display business delivered its highest-ever quarterly performance, supported by government and institutional orders.
For FY27, LG Electronics India remains confident of delivering mid-teen revenue growth and an early double-digit EBITDA margin. The company expects festive-season demand around Onam, Durga Puja and Diwali, along with premium television launches, exports and growth in B2B and AMC businesses, to support momentum.
The company is also scaling its Sri City manufacturing facility to cater to domestic and overseas demand and strengthen India's role as an export hub.
