The new hotels, to be operated under management contracts, will be located in Goa, Bengaluru, Gujarat, and Hyderabad.
EIH Limited, the flagship company of The Oberoi Group, has announced four new hotel projects across India under management contracts. Unveiled at the company’s 75th Annual General Meeting in New Delhi this week, the upcoming properties will be located in Goa, Bengaluru, Gujarat, and Hyderabad.
The move is part of the group’s growth strategy aimed at strengthening its presence in key leisure and urban destinations under both the Oberoi and Trident brands.
According to the company, the new projects include The Oberoi, Gir, a boutique 20-key wildlife retreat near Gir National Park; The Oberoi, Hyderabad, a 220-key luxury hotel in the city’s Knowledge City district; Trident Nandi Hills, a 150-key hotel set in the scenic hills north of Bengaluru; and Trident, Fort Aguada, a 170-key property near the historic 17th-century fort in Goa.
“Our growth trajectory is driven by a clear strategic focus: expanding into high-potential markets, delivering authentic and memorable guest experiences, and upholding the service philosophy that defines The Oberoi Group. As we broaden our footprint, we remain anchored in our core values of excellence, integrity, and care,” said Arjun Oberoi, Executive Chairman of The Oberoi Group.
These upcoming hotels are part of EIH’s development pipeline comprising 25 projects slated for completion by 2030. This portfolio includes 22 hotels and three luxury boats, all of which will be operated under the Oberoi or Trident brands through a mix of direct ownership, joint ventures, and management contracts.
Of these, eight hotels will be owned or jointly invested in and operated by EIH, while 17, including two Dahabeyas and one Nile cruise, will be operated under management contracts by The Oberoi Group, the release noted.
The pipeline spans 16 hotels in India and nine international properties across London, Egypt, Bhutan, Nepal, and Saudi Arabia. Upon completion, 18 of these will operate under the Oberoi brand and seven under the Trident brand, adding 2,033 keys to the portfolio, it added.
“Our development strategy is shaped by deep consumer insight, a sharp understanding of market dynamics, and a steadfast long-term vision. As we open new landmark hotels and earn continued global recognition, we are deeply grateful for the enduring trust our guests place in us,” said Vikram Oberoi, CEO of The Oberoi Group.
The release also noted that EIH Limited is set to bolster its luxury portfolio in 2025 with the launch of The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace in Khajuraho and two Oberoi Nile Dahabeyas, offering an intimate and ultra-luxurious cruising experience on the Nile.
Earlier this year, the company opened The Oberoi Vindhyavilas Wildlife Resort in Bandhavgarh, Madhya Pradesh.
