Swiggy’s express platform Bolt has partnered with Subway to offer the global sandwich giant’s full menu in just 10 minutes across 125 cities. The collaboration brings together speed, convenience, and customisation, marking a significant step forward in India’s fast-evolving food tech landscape.
Swiggy announced on Thursday a strategic partnership between its express food delivery platform, Bolt, and global QSR giant Subway, in a major fillip to its quick-commerce operations. The collaboration promises to deliver Subway’s full menu—including signature subs, wraps, salads, and breakfast specials—in just 10 minutes across 125 Indian cities.
The integration, now live, enables users to access all Subway offerings through a dedicated Bolt tab within the Swiggy app, streamlining the ordering process with real-time tracking and ready-to-pack meal options. This move signals Subway’s deeper investment in quick commerce and Swiggy’s continued push to redefine speed and convenience in the food delivery segment.
“Bolt on Swiggy continues to redefine food delivery with speed and convenience at its core. We are thrilled to welcome Subway to the Bolt family,” said Sidharth Bhakoo, Chief Business Officer, Swiggy Food Marketplace. “This collaboration underscores our efforts to partner with iconic brands and enhance customer experience through innovation and operational excellence.”
Subway, which operates over 900 restaurants in more than 160 cities in India, will now be better equipped to cater to consumers across all meal occasions—from early morning breakfasts to late-night cravings. The move comes amid a growing consumer preference for ‘made-to-order’ and healthier fast food options that are delivered quickly.
“With Bolt, we’re now able to deliver on our core promise of fresh & delicious subs made just the way customers like them, with the added benefit of speed,” said Tarun Bhasin, CEO, Culinary Brands, which manages Subway’s India operations. “This partnership with Swiggy has helped improve delivery timelines and raised the bar on freshness and customer satisfaction.”
Bolt, Swiggy’s lightning-fast food delivery service, was designed to cater to popular, fast-moving food categories like snacks, biryani, desserts, and now, Subway’s customisable menu. The service leverages a curated selection of low-preparation-time items, ensuring seamless and rapid deliveries.
For Swiggy, which already delivers from over 2.5 lakh restaurants across 700 cities and runs its 10-minute grocery delivery arm Instamart, the Subway partnership adds yet another layer of stickiness and consumer trust in a fiercely competitive market.
With both brands doubling down on quality, convenience, and digital integration, the partnership marks a new chapter in quick-service food delivery—where flavour meets speed without compromise.
