The crème-de-la-crème of Corporate India will gather in Mumbai’s Trident hotel in Nariman Point this evening for the India’s Best CEOs 2025 awards to honour the country’s iconic business leaders—industry captains who have navigated a turbulent, challenging, and uncertain market environment to ensure their companies emerge winners in the marketplace.

India’s Best CEOs 2025, the much-awaited annual listing of corporate excellence from Fortune India is out and this evening’s celebrations honour the finest leaders across both sectors and size. The awards will be given away by India’s Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, who is the Chief Guest.

The awards are the result of a listing that has EY India as Knowledge Partner and is a result of both quantitative and qualitative parameters. The final winners have been selected by a stellar Jury comprising Dr Sanjiv Goenka, chairman, RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group (Jury Chair), legal luminary Zia Mody of AZB & Partners, Dinesh Kanabar of Dhruva Advisors, K.V.S. Manian, MD & CEO of Federal Bank, and leading market experts Prashant Jain and Devina Mehra.

The evening will see an engaging mix of fireside chats and panel discussions where some of India’s leading names will discuss the current global economic scenario, corporate strategy, and their own winning formulas. With the winners cutting across several of India’s key business sectors, the discussions will cover a wide range of subjects—from the future of IT companies in the age of GenAI, the challenges of leadership in an uncertain world to India’s transformation story, and how to value the “CEO multiple”.

The evening will commence with C. Vijayakumar of HCLTech and Sandeep Kalra of Persistent Systems discussing the challenges of IT companies in the AI age, the disruption being faced by Bollywood will also feature in a fireside with Dinesh Vijan, founder of Maddock Films. This will be followed by a discussion on how Uttar Pradesh is turning into a preferred investment destination. And while everyone talks about price-earnings multiples, Prashant Jain and Devina Mehra will engage in a discussion on valuing a “CEO multiple”—how much value does a CEO bring to the table.

ITC boss Sanjiv Puri, who is in the midst of transforming his company into an FMCG giant and has recently spun off the hotels business as a separate company, will dwell on the subject of building a future-ready conglomerate in these times.

A major panel of leaders from diverse sectors—comprising C.K. Venkataraman of Titan, Abhishek Lodha of Lodha Developers, Rajesh Jejurikar of Mahindra, and Satish Pai of Hindalco will sit together to discuss leadership in turbulent times.
