Changing Business Strategy

During the pandemic, the company changed its strategies to stay ahead of the competition. “There were roadblocks and predicaments that needed smart solutions, which we resolved with planning, careful provisioning, and most of all continuous communication. Safety and precaution for our team and client was our priority that was effectuated with some brilliant brainstorming,” says Alok Patil, CTO, Toch AI.

“The pandemic expedited our deep dive into the content space as there was a dire shortage of available content for the multiplied gentry. It became increasingly challenging for broadcasters and OTT platforms to keep the viewer loyal with engaging content. The solution was to come up with new forms of content and catch eyeballs by highlighting key moments, promos, and teasers. Time was a vantage with people. Viewers were loving short and crisp video content that highlighted the entertainment quotient. Our technology of delivering quality content emerged as a strength. We were able to produce the perfect fail-proof product without human intervention, remotely all in real-time,” he adds.

Toch AI has an energic and result-oriented team. The company encourages open forums of suggestions and constructive discussions. The younger generation aces in newer ideas and are open to mentorship. Saket Dandotia, COO, says, “A happy team is our utmost priority. It is directly proportional to the quality of output we have been producing. At Toch, we charter a framework on which the team evolves, we are constantly in touch with the progress chart of each team member and love our impromptu meetings and recalls. Recognizing good work is an indispensable part of our organization, and also guiding and handling the team with positive criticisms.”

The company wants to be recognized as an equal opportunity workplace. They also provide on-the-job training opportunities by hiring interns from the lead management schools across the country. Some of the interns have grown into full-time team members.

Speaking about the future endeavours, Saket says, “At present, we have a sizable foothold in news, sports, and entertainment. However, in the future, we can empower better living by addressing sectors like security, road safety, healthcare, and education. With our existing AL and ML technology, we would be able to analyze faces and predict precarious situations before they occur. The potential is inexhaustible and exhilarating. We also hold the ambition and impetus of taking the mantle of Toch to every country across the globe.”

Vinayak concludes by giving advice, “Be open to the ever-evolving technology. The quicker we adapt to change, the smoother the transition will be."
