Ideas
No kidding
At 13, Warren Buffett claimed he’d either be a millionaire by 30, or “jump off the tallest building in Omaha”. Inspiration enough for Aryaman Dalmia, a 14-year-old in New Delhi, to make his non-fiction debut. In the 112-page Graham, Buffett & Me (Times Group Books), out last month, Dalmia combines real-world instances and case studies with the investing principles of financial legends Buffett and Benjamin Graham, “the father of sustained successful investing”. He sounds like any other teenager when he says: “Writing on them was just like a project, and then it turned into a book.” He already knows what he wants to do next: Wharton’s undergrad programme.
