The collection features 18-carat gold pieces adorned with diamonds, pearls, and gemstones, showcasing Sabyasachi's signature Bengal Tiger insignia. This launch expands Tata CLiQ's luxury portfolio, offering expert assistance for personalised selections.
Tata CLiQ Luxury will launch an exclusive digital boutique for Sabyasachi Fine Jewellery on August 21. This is the first time Sabyasachi has made its foray into the online space in India. The partnership will make the largest selection of Sabyasachi’s fine jewellery collections available on the platform.
All the 18 pieces, set to be available online, are crafted in 18-carat gold, with select designs featuring VVS-VS EF colour brilliant cut diamonds, natural pearls, precious gemstones, and the Bengal Tiger insignia that has become a hallmark of the Sabyasachi label.
The catalogue spans multiple collections. The Royal Bengal Heritage Gold Collection centres on pure gold pieces, including the signature Sabyasachi mangalsutra. The Royal Bengal Diamond Collection combines diamonds with gemstones and natural stone charms, while the Royal Bengal Pearl Series uses natural, cultured, and South Sea pearls. The Sunderbans Collection draws on flora and fauna motifs. The Tiger Stripe and Shalimar lines feature lacquer-highlighted gold designs, and the Tiger Eye range incorporates diamond-studded tiger emblems.
The lowest-priced piece in the collection is the Classic Ashrafi Necklace at ₹55,000, followed by the Shalimar Necklace at ₹98,500. At the higher end, the Calcutta ’74 Pearl Chandeliers are priced at ₹8.98 lakh, the Royal Bengal Dragonfly Earrings at ₹7.29 lakh, and the Tiger Palm Earrings at ₹7.25 lakh.
Items include earrings, pendants, bracelets, and rings, intended for both special occasions and everyday wear. Tata CLiQ Luxury will also provide customers with expert assistance online to help them select pieces suited to personal style or gifting needs.
Sabyasachi Calcutta, founded by Mukherjee in 1999, is known for its bridal couture, jewellery, and accessories, often drawing on Indian heritage and artisanal techniques. The move to establish a dedicated online jewellery presence comes as luxury brands in India increase their digital offerings to tap into a growing market for high-value goods purchased online.
With this launch, Tata CLiQ Luxury adds another Indian label to its portfolio, which already includes global and domestic luxury fashion, accessories, beauty, and home décor brands. The Sabyasachi Fine Jewellery boutique will be accessible to customers nationwide from August 21.
