Enlite, a homegrown deep-tech company, today said that it has secured its first patent in India for a building management system for wireless control’, marking a major milestone in the country’s infrastructure technology landscape.

According to the company, the patent positions India among the select nations with a full-stack innovation in building management technology, a sector traditionally dominated by global players.

“The patented system replaces traditional wired infrastructure with a wireless, self-commissioning, cloud-connected platform that is already deployed across commercial buildings, airports, and data centres. Early results show it can reduce deployment time by up to 70 percent, eliminate thousands of kilometres of wiring, and significantly cut carbon emissions,” said the company in a statement.

The platform integrates plug-and-play controllers with real-time cloud connectivity and mirrored offline control to ensure uninterrupted operations. It also supports automatic device discovery for faster rollouts and incorporates feedback modules that enhance safety, efficiency, and optimisation.
